PM Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme 2023 :- Apply Online Entrance Test 2023 yet.nta.ac.in – The Central and State Governments have started many scholarship schemes to encourage the students of the country’s socially or economically weaker income group families in education.

Through Yashasvi Scholarship, students studying in classes 9th to 11th will be given the benefit of a scholarship; for this, the applicant students in the scheme will be selected based on an entrance examination by NTA (National Testing Agency). In such a situation, students who want to benefit from PM Yashasvi Post Matric Scholarship Scheme will have to complete the application process on its official website.

About National Testing Agency (NTA) –

MSJ&E, Government of India (GoI) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent and international standardized tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier Higher Educational Institutions(HEI).

MSJ&E, Govt. Of India implements Govt. policies on promotion of activities relating to education, welfare, social justice and empowerment of disadvantaged and marginalized sections of the society viz. Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens and Victims of Drug Abuse etc.

 PM YASASVI Scheme 2022 Eligibility:-

• Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC) and De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNT)
• Parents’/ guardians’/ annual Income not more than Rs. 2.50 Lakhs.
• Studying in a Top Class School (list in https://yet.nta.ac.in ) in Class 9 or 11

Qualifying Marks

A candidate will be declared to have qualified the exam if he/she secures a minimum of 35% marks in the written test.

YASASVI Scheme 2023 Entitlement:-

Rs. 75,000 p.a. for Class 9/10; Rs. 1,25,000 p.a. for Class 11/12 – covering the school/hostel fee

By merit in the YASASVI Entrance Test (YET) conducted by National Testing Agency (details in https://yet.nta.ac.in )
