(i) Nationality- A candidate for engagement to the post of Assistant must be a citizen of India.
(ii) Character :- The character of a candidate must be such as to render suitable in all respect for engagement in the service in the High Court. The decision of the Appointing Authority in this regard shall be final.

Uttarakhand High Court Written Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2024 –

Post wise syllabus for written competitive examination:-

• For selection, there will be a written competitive examination of 2 hours 30 minutes of objective type (Objective Type with Multiple Choice) of 140 marks.
• In which there will be question paper of General Knowledge and General Studies.
• The typing test will be of 60 marks.
