केन्द्रीय सरकार या राज्य सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त किसी संस्थान द्वारा प्रदान किया गया ऑटोमोबाईल इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा (तीन वर्षीय पाठ्यक्रम);या
यांत्रिक इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा (तीन वर्षीय पाठ्यक्रम); और
गियर वाली मोटर साईकिल और हल्के मोटरयान चलाने के लिए अधिकृत चालन अनुज्ञप्ति (ड्राईविंग लाईसेंस) का धारण करना।
