State Health Society, Bihar invites online applications from candidates for the post of CHO (on contractual basis) under National Health Mission. This post is meant to lead the primary care provider team consisting of female health workers, male health workers, ASHA’s etc. at Health Sub-Centers- Health & Wellness Centers (HSC- HWCs) for implementation of Public health programmer, enable Comprehensive Primary Health Care service delivery, including disease prevention and health promotion.

Bihar Health Department CHO Education Qualification :-

• B.Sc. (Nursing)/General Nurse and Midwifery (GNM) passed candidates who have completed Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) through IGNOU other State Public Health/ Medical Universities as per curriculum of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India (specified for eligibility of CHOS by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, GOI).

Age Limit Details :-

• In this recruitment, the age of all the candidates has been kept between 21 to 42 years.
• Age relaxation will be given as per government rules.
