Railway Group D CBT Phase 2 Exam Date Latest Update 2022

Railway Recruitment Board has released the Group D Recruitment notification and a large number of applicants have applied for these vacancies. The application process has ended and now the aspirants are waiting for the Group D CBT  Exam Date 26.08.2022 to 08.09.2022. We are informed that RRB has not yet specified any particular date for the Exam. There is no official notification about the Recruitment Exam. Phase-2 will be held in various cities all over India for a group comprising of Five (5) RRCs namely RRCs: North Central Railway (Allahabad), North Western Railway (Jaipur), South East Central Railway (Bilaspur), South Eastern Railway (Kolkata) and West Central Railway (Jabalpur). Selection Procedure:-

 The candidates will have to go through 3 phases as given below to qualify for this post.

 Phase 1: Railway Group D Computer Based Test CBT 

 The Question Paper for First Stage CBT will be of

• 90 minutes duration
• 100 questions
• 120 minutes for PwBD candidates.

Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories:

UR – 40%
EWS – 40%
OBC – 30%
SC – 30%
ST – 30 %

Phase 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is obligatory and the criterion for PET is as under:

Phase 4: Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination

Based on the presentation of candidates in CBT and PET, aspirants twice the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification. Eligible candidates will be finally selected for the posts.
