Indian Navy Education Qualification :-
Syrang of Lascars :
- 10th pass from a recognized Institute or Board.
- Syrang Certificate granted under Inland Vessels Act, 1917 or Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.
- 02 years experience as Syrang-in-Charge of a registered vessel of twenty horse power.
lascar-l :
- 10th pass from a recognized Institute or Board.
- Knowledge of swimming.
- One year experience on a registered vessel.
Fireman (Boat Crew) :
- 10th pass from a recognized Institute or Board.
- Knowledge of swimming.
- Certificate of having completed pre-sea training course.
Topass :
- 10th pass from a recognized Institute or Board.
- Knowledge of swimming.

- Minimum Age : 18 Years
- Maximum Age : 25 Years
