Agniveervayu: Born between 01 July 2005 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
Airmen Group Y (Medical Assistant): As per specific categories (10+2 up to 21 years / Diploma holders up to 24 years)

Airmen Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant (10+2)
12th Pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Airmen Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant (Pharmacist)
12th Pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English, along with Diploma / B.Pharmacy / B.Sc Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks.
Agniveervayu (Science Subjects)
12th Pass with Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English, OR Three-Year Diploma in Engineering in a relevant discipline.
Agniveervayu (Other Than Science Subjects)
12th Pass in any stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Physical Standards :-
PFT consists of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes (For candidates up to the age of 21 Years) and 7 minutes 30 Seconds (For candidates above 21 years of age and holding Diploma / B.SC in Pharmacy). In addition, Candidates will have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.
Mandatory Medical Standards
Weight : Weight should be proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
Chest : Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cm and chest expansion must be at least 05 cm.
Hearing : Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
Dental : Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
