Indian Coast Guard Qualification Details:-

Civilian MT Driver (Ordinary Grade)	10th Pass. Must possess valid driving license, Should have at least 02 years’ experience, Knowledge of motor mechanism
Fork Lift Operator	Essential:- Respective trade from ITI With not less than one year experience in the trade OR 3 years experience in the trade for which no training is available in ITI Should possess heavy duty vehicle driving license. Desirable:- 10th pass. Knowledge of English.
Store Keeper Grade-I	12th pass. 2 years experience in handling of Stores OR Bachelor Degree with Commerce or Economics or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration as a subject.. 1 year experience in handling Stores
Carpenter(Skilled)	Essential:- Should have completed apprenticeship in the trade from Industrial Training Institute OR Should have 3 years experience in the trade Desirable:- 10th pass. Elementary knowledge of English.
Sheet Metal Worker(Skilled)	Essential:- Should have completed apprenticeship in the trade from Industrial Training Institute. Desirable:- 2 years’ experience in the trade.
Unskilled Labourer	Essential:- Matriculation pass or ITI. Three years experience in the trade.
Engine Driver	Essential:- Certificate of competency as Engine Driver from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent. Desirable:- 2 years service as Sarang on a Vessel of over four hundred Boat Horse Power.
MT Fitter/MT(Mech)	Essential:- 10th Pass or equivalent. 02 years’ experience in automobile workshop. Desirable:- I.T.I. diploma in relevant trade

Salary Details :-

For Civilian MT Driver, Fork Lift Operator, Carpenter, Sheet Metal Worker, MT Fitter- Pay of Rs. 19,900/– (Level-2 in the pay matrix) as per 7th CPC
For Store Keeper Grade-I, Engine Driver – In the pay of Rs. 25,500/- (Level-4 in the pay matrix) as per 7th CPC
For Unskilled Labourer in the pay of Rs. 18,000/- (Level-1 in the pay matrix) as per 7th CPC
