APSC JE Recruitment 2024 :- Recruitment notification for 80 posts of Junior Engineer has been issued by the Awesome Public Service Commission (APSC). Any candidate who wants to work as an Assam Junior Engineer can apply for this recruitment from 6th May to 5th June 2024. Junior Engineer (Mechanical) under joint cadre of Public Works Roads Department and Public Works (Bldg. & NH) Department.

Educational Qualification :-

• The candidate must have a 3 year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any technical institute recognized by the Government.
• The Diploma must be a Regular course. Diploma courses obtained through Distance Mode of Education, by whatever name called, will not be accepted.
• Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1(one) official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council

Age Limit :- as on 01.01.2024

• The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years .
• Age relaxation will be given as per the rules of the government.
• (i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years. 
• (ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical) Pay Scale :-

Pay Band -2 of Rs.14,000/-to 60,500/- with Grade Pay of Rs.8700/–

4. Login with your registration number and password.
5. Click on “Apply” link.
6. Then Fill More Details.
7. Preview filled details and confirm the same by clicking on the final submit button.
8. Now pay the APSC Application Fee in online or offline mode.
9. Finally download/print.
