UP Police Computer Operator Education Qualification:
- Passed Intermediate (12th) examination with Physics and Mathematics subjects from a recognized board. And
- Must have passed “O” Label examination in Computer from Department of Electronics Accredited in Computer and Communication (DOEACC),
OR
- Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering from the Council of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh or any qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government.

The Exam Pattern will be as Follows:
- Online Written Exam.
- There will be a total of 200 questions in this written examination,

- The Exam Will be Based on the Subjects ( 1 ) सामान्य ज्ञान, (2) मानसिक अभिरूचि (3) तर्क शक्ति एवं (4) कम्प्यूटर विज्ञान से संबंधित होगी
