What is NTA National Common Entrance Test NCET?:
The National Common Entrance Test (NCET), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is mandatory for admission to the Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) in India. This program makes you part of an innovative curriculum being offered in the field of education under the new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Through NTA NCET 2026, admission will be done on 6100 seats of ITEP across India.
Region-wise HEIs (Central/State Universities/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs) for 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme. A list of all participating Central/State Universities/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2026-27 is given in Appendix 1

NCET Education Qualification –
The candidates who have passed the class 12th /equivalent examination or are Appearing in 2026
NCET Eligibility Criteria-
Educational Qualification: To be eligible for the NTA NCET 2026 examination, candidates must have successfully passed their class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Appearing candidates may also apply.
If a candidate is granted a seat, they must also meet any age criteria set by the institution. Participants should refer to the website of the institute they wish to apply to for specific eligibility criteria.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Common Entrance Test [NCET] 2026 in 178 Cities and 13 mediums across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for the Academic Session 2026-27 as per the schedule given below:

- After this click on the registration link given on the home page.
- Now enter the login details here and register yourself.
- After that start filling the application form and pay the application fee and click on the submit button.
- You must download and take a printout of your application form for future reference and keep it with you.
