For English Stenographer Grade-II: Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and not more than 40 years. For English Stenographer Grade-III: Candidatesmust be at least 21 years of age and not more than 35 years.
Basic knowledge of Computer Operation is essential as per
Government Resolution dated 13/08/2008.
Sufficient knowledge of English, Gujarati & Hindi Language.
Mode of Selection :-
Elimination Test [100 Marks]
Stenography / Skill Test [70 Marks]
Viva-voce Test (Oral Interview) [30 Marks]

Gujarat High Court Steno Elimination Test :-
Tentatively scheduled on 16/06/2024 (Sunday) – Computer Based Test (CBT)
Elimination Test (Objective Type–MCQs) consisting of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each of 1 Mark. For every wrong / multiple answer, there shall be Negative Marking of 0.33 Marks. Language of the Question Paper shall be English, except otherwise Questions in Gujarati. Duration of the Test shall be 75 Minutes.
Syllabus for Elimination Test : General Knowledge, English Language & Grammar, Gujarati Language & Grammar, Current Affairs, Numerical & Mental Ability and Computer Fundamentals/Operation, etc.
