- B.Sc. / B.E. degree in Firefighting or its equivalent from a recognized University.
- Vehicle Driver / Vehicle Driver- cum- Operator :-
- Passed (10+2) examination or old Higher Secondary examination from a recognized board.
- Must have a license to drive heavy motor vehicles.
- Fireman / Storekeeper :-
- Passed (10+2) examination or old Higher Secondary examination from a recognized board.
- Mechanic :-
- Passed (10+2) examination or old Higher Secondary examination from a recognized board.
- Diploma in Diesel Mechanic from Industrial Training Institute/ Recognized Institution.
- Watchroom Operator :-
- Passed (10+2) examination or old Higher Secondary examination from a recognized board.
- Trained City Soldier.
- Wireless Operator (Contract) :-
- Passed (10+2) examination or old Higher Secondary examination from a recognized board.
