Uttarakhand TET Age Limit :-
There is no upper age limit for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 for Paper I or II. But one must have attended the age of 18 and 21 years, of he or she applying for Paper I and II, respectively.
Uttarakhand TET Eligibility Criteria, Qualification :-
Qualification For Paper 1 ( Primary Level )
- Minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/BTC).
- Minimum 45% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/BTC), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002,
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1–year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- B.A/B.Sc./B.Com and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/BTC).
Qualification For Paper 2 ( Upper Primary Level )
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/BTC).
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- B.A/B.Sc./B.Com with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
Uttarakhand TET Exam Pattern 2024 :-
- The questions of all the subjects will be objective and multiple choice in nature.
- Answers will have to be marked in the prescribed place on the OMR Sheet.
- There will be No Negative calculation of marks.
There will be two levels of eligibility test exam i.e. Primary school level & Upper primary school level. Candidates can also appear in both the levels of examination.
- Primary school level for class 1 to 5 : Level–1
- Upper Primary School level for class 6 to 8 : Level-2
There will be a consolidated question paper in each level of examination, the duration of which will be as follows:-
- Primary class (1 to 5) – 02 Hour 30 Minutes
- Upper Primary Class (6 to 8) – 02 Hour 30 Minutes
- For visually impaired – 30 minutes extra time.
